Maria was raised in a missionary family of 15. She learned the importance of hard work, determination, and attention to detail: she has always been taught that whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your heart.

Maria married her husband, Manuel, in 2002 and began adding to their family. Then in 2016, they and their 3 children, Alexander, Tatiana, and Isaiah, moved from Illinois to San Antonio. And finally, in 2022, they established their own homestead on a small ranch outside of Waco. Looking to raise their children with southern values of hospitality. 

Maria stays very connected with her community, volunteering in church, children’s sporting events, and local school activities. Her focus is to help contribute to her neighbors and surrounding communities.
